Taunton Cycle Club meets Sundays and Wednesdays during the lighter nights. Cycling groups are not for racers but for those that cycle for pleasure. Taunton is a small town, and our cyclists can be out in the countryside within a few minutes. Club membership is free
Unless it has been otherwise organized then we meet at the Crescent Street Car Park

- In the event of an accident or illness we will contact your next of kin if you have added this to your membership profile. You can login update this information on your profile at any time
- Activity group leaders will endeavour to keep you safe and their instructions should be adhered to at all times
- It is important that you be fit enough and well enough to complete the ride as advertised, and that you are appropriately dressed with sufficient drinks/snacks to rehydrate or re-energise as required.
- Please also ensure that you carry with you spares tube(s), tyre levers, pump etc. As mechanical issues will occur!
- If you are planning on doing the cafe stop please remember to bring bike locks etc.
Sunday Main Ride

The main group are out for around 3 hours, meeting at 10am. There is not normally a cafe stop.
Sunday Social Ride
(All year round)
Slightly slower ride than the main group also out for around 3 hours,meeting at 9:30, but normally with a coffee stop. The meeting point is normally the bandstand in Vivary Park but it does vary, so see the Preview below to check the start location
Wednesday Group
(British summer time (ish))
Leaving at 18:30. we take a leisurely cycle into the countryside with a pit stop at a village inn and then return. The distance is just far enough to enjoy the countryside, helps you keep fit, and support Somerset Pubs.
